Prisoners in Osmaniye entered 46th day of hunger strilke

Rights associations warned of deteriorating health conditions
Today is the 46th day of the indefinite hunger strike carried out by 13 prisoners in Osmaniye T Type Closed Prison. The prisoners began fasting on 21 February in order to protest the rights violations in the prison.
The Association of Families of Prisoners (TUHA-DER) Adana Branch chair Ahmet Doğan said prisoners got a hostile response when they had a meeting with the prison administrator to explain their demands. Doğan warned, “Our friends’ health is deteriorating, they are suffering from serious health issues risking their lives.”
