IHD Diyarbakır goes to congress

Human Rights Association (IHD) Diyarbakır Branch will hold its 12th Ordinary General Meeting on 6 May at Cegerxwin Cultural Center.

The congress on Sunday will be attended by IHD General President Öztürk Türkdoğan, Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) deputies and mayors, representatives of non-governmental organizations as well as delegates of the congress.

In a statement on the congress, IHD Branch Secretary Raci Bilici called for high level of participation in the meeting which, he said, coincided with a process of remarkably increasing violations of rights. The human rights-based organizations should take active roles in this critical process, underlined Bilici.

IHD will determine its new administration at the congress.
