Guerrillas detained six village guards

Village guards were detained on last night during a road control by guerrillas

People’s Defense Forces (HPG) guerrillas detained six village guards who had reportedly taken place in the operation where 15 woman guerrillas lost their lives on 24 March.

Village guards were detained on 18 May evening during a road control by guerrillas near Çeltikli village of Bitlis. Guerrillas stopped three vehicles and performed id control on the people in the convoy.

Among the detained village guards are Çeltikli village headman Arafat Melek and İlyas Demir, Davut Melek, Fesih Bodur, Sıddık Bodur and Burhan Çapar.
