KESK asks support for general strike

Members of Diyarbakır KESK Branches Platform visited Kayapınar deputy mayor Mahmut Dağ and asked for support for the general strike action to be staged today to protest against the inconclusiveness in collective bargaining between public workers confederation and the Minister of Labor and Social Security.

Within the scope of the general strike, KESK administrators asked support and solidarity by Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) municipalities, which they remarked, had a clear stance on the side of workers and laborers. Kayapınar Deputy Mayor Mahmut Dağ stated that BDP municipalities will be in the areas today to support the general strike and laborers.
