Meeting on Öcalan cancelled

Delegation of deputies and lawyers were supposed to see Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin today
A delegation of Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) deputies and lawyers were supposed to hold a meeting with the Minister of Justice Sadullah Ergin in the Parliament today.
BDP deputy Pervin Buldan will hold a press conference shortly to explain what has happened.
The meeting was asked by BDP and was to address the issues of isolation on Imralı and BDP delegation’s demand from the Ministry of Justice to go to Imralı island for a meeting with Öcalan within the shortest possible time.
The BDP delegation were also to hold a meeting with Turkish Medical Association and demand permission from the Ministry of Justice to enable a delegation of medical doctors to make examinations in Imralı.
