Political prisoner Kasım Demir (56) lost his life on Friday
Political prisoner Kasım Demir (56) lost his life on Friday morning short after he was referred to a hospital in İzmir for treatment.
Prisoner Demir who had been referred from Muş E Type Prison to Diyarbakır D Type Prison was taken to a hospital in İzmir to receive treatment for his earlier known chronic heart disease, hypertension, articular rheumatism and hepatitis b. Demir lost his life on Friday morning.
Demir’s brother Yener Demir who came to the hospital after his brother’s death told that his brother was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1993 and served his sentence in İzmir, Bursa, Muş, Van and Diyarbakır prisons so far.
