The fire has been caused by bombing of the area by the Turkish army
The fire in Cudi (province of Şırnak) caused by the bombing by Turkish army has been going on for the past five days.
The fire affecting Cudi mountain broke out five days ago as a result of artillery shootings and helicopter bombing by the Turkish military units deployed in Şax, Heblêr regions and Tuşimya Valley.
Soldiers are reported to prevent villagers’ attempt to extinguish the fire which can also be seen from the provinces of Silopi and Cizre.
