Clashes reach Foça

One soldier dead in western province of Izmir

At least one soldier have died and eight others were wounded in clashes in Foça, in the western province of İzmir on Thursday. Clashes reportedly broke out following an explosion during the passage of a military vehicle on the way to Naval Base Command in the early morning.

The wounded soldiers have been taken to Foça State Hospital.
